Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor from Iceland . Her most well-known role is that of Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become Queen Elizabeth III's third spouse Henry VIII in the series of the television show The Tudors and for her role in the role of Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem started her acting career when she was 9 years old at the National Theater in Iceland. As a youngster, she was involved in many radio and TV programs, plays, as well as other performances in Iceland. Briem was a child performer at age 16 when she moved to London. She was a part of an adaptation of Lenin, in Love at the New End Theater. Briem got a spot at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at the age of 19.
